SuperNine! Blend™
A super-rich blend for super skin! SuperNine! combines nine carefully selected oils — from sunflower seed, coconut, rice bran, safflower seed, pumpkin seed, oat, crambe, grape seed, and apricot kernels. After extensive research and refinement, we created this optimised formula to gently moisturise, soothe, and nourish delicate skin, providing lasting protection.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil helps support the skin’s natural barrier and maintain healthy pH in baby skin (Summers, 2019). It has also been shown to help reduce the risk of skin infections in infants (Kusari, 2019).
Pumpkin Seed Oil
Pumpkin seed oil is rich in oleic and linoleic acids, essential fatty acids that help nourish the skin. It also provides natural antioxidant properties to support skin protection (Prommaban, 2021).
Coconut Oil
Topical coconut oil has been shown in studies to help maintain healthy skin condition in preterm infants, providing gentle nourishment and protection (Strunk, 2018).
Grape Seed Oil
Grape seed oil is a natural source of squalene, which helps support the skin’s own oil balance. It’s also rich in antioxidants such as tocopherols and polyphenols, which protect and nourish delicate skin (Garavaglia, 2016).
Rice Bran Oil
Rice bran oil is rich in moisturising fatty acids — including oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids — that help keep skin soft and nourished. It also contains gamma-oryzanol, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect against lipid free radicals (Minatel, 2016).
Oat Oil
Oat oil is naturally rich in ceramides, which help form a protective barrier on the skin to lock in moisture and prevent dryness. This makes it especially soothing and nourishing for delicate, sensitive skin (Chon, 2015).
Crambe (Abyssinian) Oil
Traditionally used for centuries in Ethiopia, crambe oil is naturally rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. It contains erucic acid, which helps smooth, soften, and support absorption into the skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil
Apricot kernel oil is rich in oleic acid and squalene, both of which help support the skin’s natural oil composition, keeping it soft, smooth, and well-nourished.
Safflower Oil
Safflower oil has natural anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to help improve the fatty acid balance of newborn skin, supporting softness and protection (Solanki, 2005).
